Investing in the perfect casks is the single greatest attribute to the distillery. This produces exceptional quality, aromatic flavours and deep natural colours of the Kaiapoi Whiskey.

The oak casks are shaved, hooped, toasted and steamed ready to receive the whisky. Malted, distilled and casked in a combination of Spanish sherry, French oak and American oak barrels in the cooperage within the walls of the Kaiapoi Distillery, this whisky is produced in the true traditional style.

Incredibly smooth, oak characters perfectly balanced with deep malted body and long seemingly endless finish, rich and deep, leaving a warm glow dancing malted after.
